Back in August I had the privilege of photographing my neighbour’s son’s wedding. Simon & Esther had a lovely church wedding with a simple afternoon tea reception at the church & then photos down at Wellington Point here in Brisbane.

One of my son’s good friends Ashlyn celebrated her 21st this week. Ben bought her a lovely gift & asked if I’d make a pretty box to put it in….. at last some compulsory craft time…. lol
I made this little box to snuggly fit the box in & a little gift card as Ben’s not really into having to write on a ‘big’ card. So made the card to also fit inside the box.

Ruffled Bazaar Twilight Markets are on again today at the Mt Gravatt Showgrounds in Brisbane from 3-8pm.
As it’s Mother’s Day on Sunday the theme for these markets is of course Mother’s Day!!! I have a stall again, so come along & say hello. There will be lots of exciting stalls with some just to pamper that special Mum out there.

I have made some cute handbags for my Mother’s Day stall next Saturday 12th May at the Ruffled Bazaar Twilight Markets – Mt Gravatt Showgrounds (Brisbane).

It was my new boss to be Dr M’s birthday yesterday. I have always acknowledged my current boss Dr L’s birthday, so thought I should perhaps do the same with the new doctor joining our practice this year.

It was David’s sister Denise’s birthday on Friday, so big belated wishes Denise!
I didn’t want to blog anything earlier as I thought she might see her card & little chocolate box before she got home to see it. She has told me she loved them & her gift, so now I can share with everyone….. lol

Today was my son Ben’s 21st Birthday! I can’t believe where all those years have gone. I’m such a proud Mum of all Ben has achieved in his 21 years, from being a great tennis player winning so many seasons in his local league from the age of 6yrs….. to today with his carpentry apprenticeship.
He is my only child – so you could say he gets spoilt…. but I know he appreciates all I do for him.
This is my card
He will be celebrating with his friends next weekend when we have his 21st party. But he had a small gathering today at home with some close friends, so I made him a giant cupcake!
and here he is getting a birthday kiss from the girls…..lol
