Free ribbon & buttons

I had a play with my buttons & ribbons from the FREE BUTTONS & RIBBON from the current Gift With Purchase promotion Stampin’ Up! have been running this month.  This promotion only has 2 days left – ending 31st July.

I used this week’s sketch over on Card Patterns – sketch 125 for my card today & used all the colours in the ribbon which are from the Brights collection…. so it’s a bright cheery card I think.

The sketch:

Card: Daffodil Delight, Pacific Point, Melon Mambo, Old Olive

Ink: Pacific Point, Old Olive

Stamp: Hello Blossom, Teeny Tiny Sentiments

Other: Jewelry Tag punch, Repeating flower grosgrain ribbon & Button collection from promotion, Cuttlebug embossing fold (non SU)

Until later, happy stampin’

Pink Pink Pink

Okay I will admit I had fun working with my favourite colour PINK!  I was using this week’s sketch from Stamping 411, but got carried away wanting to make a couple of variations that I went & missed the deadline for the link…… darn it 😦

I used the kissing technique on my flowers.

Oh well at least I made a couple of cards, so I’ll share two for now:

& another variation

This was the sketch:

Oh well that will teach me for not trying out the sketch earlier in the week….. although I must say my plan of stamps & etc I used certainly changed from the initial though…..lol.

Ink: Regal Rose, Pink Pirouette (1), Pretty in Pink (2), Certainly Celery

Aussie Cards for Sale – My Expression of Interest

I found Aussie Cards for Sale a little while ago, it’s a wonderful website specialising in Australian handmade cards for all occasions.

I had a go at trying to see if Alicia would be interested in my cards, but at the time she had enough designers stocking her website.  But I have recently found out she’s looking for more designers, so I’m biting the bullet and showing my interest to become one of her card makers.

I have no idea which of my cards to include so I decided on showing lots…..lol.  Here are some cards I’m submitting for consideration:

Do you think I had some better samples that I’ve blogged previously??

Oh well fingers crossed.

Sweet Sunday SSSC126

I’m afraid I’m guilty of being in that “gunna” mode lately.  Have made a few cards to challenges but then just not got around to taking photos & the challenge then ends….oops!

But I have my act together tonight & finally have a photo of a card I’ve made & posting it…..lol

I’ve used this week’s challenge sketch over on Sweet Sunday for a Christmas card for my Christmas in July class.

I did a little punch art on this card – using the two step owl punch to make a little penguin – cute isn’t he???

This is Sweet Sunday sketch – SSSC126

Ink: Real Read, Marina Mist

Stamp: Snow Swirled
