Firstly I must apologise for being MIA!  I’m not sure where my time has gone this past week or so.

It doesn’t help that my laptop’s screen has decided it thinks it’s reached its used by date as it is totally covered in little dash lines & makes it sooo hard to read anything, let alone do my beloved photography editing.  But thanks to David he has prepared my project photos for me to share with you.  Now I’m doing this post at work……. so SSSHHHHHHHHHH!…. don’t tell anyone!

I made this project I’m about to show you for a special girl – David’s daughter Sarah.  Although I’m not quite sure of her real response – so I just hope she liked it.

This tool box “Trendy Tool Tote” is from the very talented Lauren Meader My Time Made Easy collection of templates .  I thought it would be a nice size to fit lots of things in it.

another angle showing the back & side (its a little hard to see with the angle of the photo but the Cherry Cobbler card its embossed with skulls & crossbones)

I then made a few little boxes to fit treats inside

Now I have used my Stampin’ Up! cardstock, but unfortunately here in Australia we don’t have any Halloween themed stamps or embossing tools in the SU range, so I have used some sizzlet & cuttlebug products to dress up my projects.

Card: Basic Black, Cherry Cobbler

Other: Colour Spritzer tool

Here is the tool box filled with lots of treats – chocolate, candy, bat & spider – hand puppets from Ikea – aren’t they cute!

I had a family block of her favourite chocolate Milky Bar on the bottom, so help that gives an idea on its size.

Until later, happy stampin’

Techno Stamper – TSSC142

Well I was on a roll over the weekend getting some cards made to different sketches.  For this card I used Techno Stamper’s challenge 142 & this time I made a baby girl card. I guess it could also suit the Just Add Ink challenge this week too as it’s PINK & has a little BLING on it.

This is the sketch:

and here is my pink baby card

Card: Pink Pirouette, Regal Rose, Whisper White

Ink: Regal Rose, Pretty in Pink

Stamp: Animal Stories, Occasional Quotes (Level 3 hostess set)

Other: Pretty in Pink 1/4″ Grosgrain ribbon, Jewels Basic Rhinestones, Dimensionals, non SU ‘Nat’ embossing folder

2 Sketches 4 You

I thought I should start making a few baby cards to have on hand as my brother & his wife are getting quite close to their baby being due & I’m super excited to becoming an Aunty again.  We would love to finally have a girl in our family, but my brother is hoping for a boy.  I’ll be happy either way just to have another little baby to spoilt (I only have 2 little nephews at present).

This is the sketch – Laura’s sketch 62

This is my card – I had my horse on the right but it didn’t quite look right there so I moved it to the left.

Card: Night of Navy, So Saffron, Bashful Blue

Ink: Bashful Blue

Stamp: Animal Stories, Sweetness Unlimited

Other: Scallop Trim Border punch, Modern Label punch, Swiss Dots non SU embossing foler

I’ll be back to show a girl card tomorrow, then more of each as I’m inspired…. lol

Until later, happy stampin’

This week over at Just Add Ink their challenge is focusing on the upcoming Cancer Council’s national Pink Ribbon Day on October 25th. (Events held for this day aims to help raise awareness about breast cancer, as well as raise funds towards research, education and patient support programs).
