Simon & Esther’s Wedding

Back in August I had the privilege of photographing my neighbour’s son’s wedding.  Simon & Esther had a lovely church wedding with a simple afternoon tea reception at the church & then photos down at Wellington Point here in Brisbane.

My card:

This was my first wedding to photograph. Here is some of my photography of the lovely couple

& the bridal party

Diamond Wedding Anniversary

I had the pleasure of making a special card for my lovely neighbours Robyn & Steve on the weekend.  It was their parent’s 60th Wedding Anniversay…. how cool is that…. 60yrs married!

Robyn mentioned her theme for their little party was red & white, so I set about making a card that would suit her colour scheme.

I put a clear rhinestone brad in the centre of the bow…. my DIAMOND on the card!

What do you think – I quickly made it in between cooking our dinner….. lol

Another Wedding Card

Sorry I haven’t posted for a while but I have been a little distracted away on holidays, so am posting another wedding card I made for my cousin’s wedding a few months ago (well actually I gave it to my Mum to use as her gift card)

I have embossed Whisper White cardstock & then layered this onto Old Olive cardstock. I have then stamped the hearts using Always stamp set in Old Olive and cut them out & positioned them over each other. Then dressed them up using the pearls from Pretties Kit & 1/4″ Chocolate Chip Grosgrain Ribbon to mimick the bride & groom. Finally I added some 1/2″ Old Olive Striped Grosgrain Ribbon. I then attached this to my Whisper White card & stamped on the Congratulations greeting using the For The Bride stamp set using Old Olive again.

The reason I chose these colours was that I thought it would be nice to stay with the colours used on the wedding invitation which were green, brown & pearly white….. hence why the chocolate chip ribbon for the tie on the “groom” heart.

Hope you like it & now just to get myself creative again & making some new cards.

Until later, happy stampin’

Wedding Card

This is my card I made for my brothers wedding.  His fiance says her favourite colour is black, hence the colour combination.  So sending them the best wishes on their married life together.

I have used Basic Black, Whisper White & Basic Grey cardstock, Basic Grey Taffeta Ribbon, & Word Window, Large Oval & Scallop Oval punches.  I have used some non Stampin’ Up! products with embossing the cardstock…. hopefully Stampin’ Up! will be stocking this type of product later in the year….  The stamp sets used were For The Bride & Special Blessings.  I have embossed (with Black Embossing Powder) the bride & sentiment to give that extra touch.

Wedding Card

Just sharing a Wedding Card I made for a friend’s wedding.

I have used the For the Bride & Special Blessings stamp, and cardstock Naturals Ivory, Basic Grey &  Basic Black &  embossed the basic grey, then finished off the dress with some Stampin’ Glitter to give the dress some sparkle.
