Sharing SS Card

Now that my Secret Sister swap is completed & I have revealed to Liz who I am I can share my creations I made over the last 3 months.

This is my 1st card from February – it was around Valentine’s Day and I was in the zone for hearts

I’ll be back to share more.

Until later,

Secret Sister April Gift

Hi everyone,

Well as promised I’m back to show off my final gift from my absolutely wonderful Secret Sister.  As this is the last of our current swap this is when we reveal to each who we are, my lovely Secret Sister was Fiona Platzer – she’s on my blogroll.  We actually got to meet in person at last year’s Stampin’ Up! Convention in Sydney, so pop over to her blog to see her wonderful creations.

First off is my beautiful card:

and here is the all the wonderful gifts that I found in the box:

and here are all the gifts opened to reveal all my lovely gifts…. wasn’t I spoilt!!!!

My gifts consisted of a covered Art Journal – with my name on it so no one can pinch this!  A For You Flower stamp, a yummy chocolate – Lindt White chocolate – my favourite!  Then the cute box contained a container of Antique Brads & Bitty Buttons, Silver Foil Smooch Spritz and some Red & Black Satin Ribbon.  I was so blown away with how generous Fiona was & am so very appreciative of everything she has sent me over the past 3 months.  I haven’t had any spare $$ lately to buy much SU product since I started all my house renovations so will be eager to use all these new items.

Thank you again Fiona!

Hopefully my Secret Sister I’ve been sending to will acknowledge my final gift soon, so I can share what I’ve been making for her.

Until later, happy stampin’

Secret Sister April Card 1

Oops I forgot to show you my first card I received for April from my lovely Secret Sister.  This is unfortunately the last month of our current swap.  I’ve also received my final gift yesterday so I’ll be back tomorrow to share what wonderful things my lovely SS made for me & all the SU products she spoilt me with!

This was my card which I receive late last week.

My Secret Sister that I was sending to hasn’t acknowledged receiving my final gift yet, so once she does I’ll be able to show all the things I made for her over the last 3 months.

Until later, happy stampin’

Secret Bunny gift

I participated in a swap over on ESAD-SU (Stampin’ Up! group) for a Secret Bunny swap.

My bunny hasn’t acknowledged that she’s received her gift yet, so I’ll have to wait to show you what I sent.

But this is what I received from my Secret Bunny:

Here’s everything unwrapped:

There were some White Lindt chocolate balls (yummo!), personalised stationery cards, a roll of Early Espresso & Marina Mist 5/8″ Grosgrain ribbon, Jewels Basic Rhinestones & some Antique Brads, all beautifully decorated using the Elegant Soiree DSP and co-ordinating cardstock.

Thank you to my wonderful Bunny Felicity!

Until later, happy stampin’

My Secret Sister March gift

Once again where have the days slipped by since I last blogged….. why is life slipping by so fast??

Thought you might like to see my lovely gifts from my Secret Sister for March.  They were so pretty as all spritzed so they had shimmer to them.

and with the gifts opened – here’s how spoilt I was:

I’m just blown away with my SS generosity (as my finances are very tight at the moment), I received the Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions folder, Small Heart punch & some very nice smelling soap (which is apparently made locally where she lives).  So I’m hanging out for the end of the this month for our final reveal to see who my wonderful Secret Sister is as I just love her work….. umm but then again that means the end of these surprise gifts….lol.  Sending a HUGE thank you SS.

Happy Good Friday, sending out warm Easter wishes to you & your families.

Until later, happy stampin’

Another Secret Sister card

Hi everyone,

Sorry I have been MIA again!  I was sick at the start of the week with the dreaded gastro bug for 2 days (although not a nice way to loose weight I’m happy I did) & amongst all that my parents came to visit me to help with trying to finish off all my backyard renovations I’ve been doing for the past couple of months.

The last few weeks we have been making great progress, my wonderful son has been working tirelessly with a little help from his friends.  I try to do as much as I can but these past couple of days I’m pretty proud of the final touches I’ve been able to get done.  I’ve planted up 2 gardens each over 10m long, helped move 2 3/4tonne of stones, built another garden and the list goes on and on…. lol.  All that was possible with the help of my wonderful Dad & Mum over the past couple of days.

Earlier in the week I received another card from my Secret Sister so it really cheered me up…. its so nice getting happy mail!

This card used the Just Believe stamp set & the Faux Silk technique….. just like the technique I’ll be teaching in my class on Saturday, so if you’d like to learn this technique & you can make it to my place on the southside of Brisbane, please let me know.

Until later happy stampin’

Secret Sister Gift (Feb)

Just had to share my latest gift from my Secret Sister – my February gift!

You will recall I had started to show my cards for February & my Secret Sister let me know through the co-ordinator that she was a little behind in getting my gift out, but wow it was certainly worth the wait as its gorgeous!!!!!!!!  Its using Sweet & Sour Specialty DSP & Priceless stamp set (my old time favourite stamp set).  Okay I suppose if I’m raving about it being so pretty then I should show you….. lol

There was a chocolate pull out box – with my absolute favourite chocolate inside – White Lindt….. yummo!!!

Then there was the most cutest little handbag made from Top Note die & Scallop Circle & inside was a container of Flower Designer Brads – aren’t I so lucky!!

Then to make it all complete another very pretty co-ordinating card

So do you agree with me it was worth the wait as its all just so so pretty!!!!!  Thank you Secret Sister – I’m intrigued to know who you are as I just love the time you put into your work!
