Happy Birthday Gail

It was my wonderful friend & work colleague Gail’s birthday last week & how sad is it that I’m only now posting up her birthday card.

I wanted it to be pretty & “girly” card as that’s her to a tee!  I used this week’s sketch from Clean & Simple.

Again I tried my hand at using my copics to colour

Happy Birthday Chloe

It is my good friend Julie-Anne’s granddaughter Chloe’s 3rd birthday today.  I made a card for little Chloe but will have to wait until she returns to Brisbane to give to her.

I used the sketch from Freshly Made – sketch #24

along with colour inspiration over on Stamping 411 – #168

I made another card using the same stamp set for my FOR SALE collection

I’ve coloured in using my copics markers but have lots to learn with my technique!

Stamp: Little Princess

Until later, happy stampin’

Thinking of you

I saw this owl a little while ago so had a go at making it today.  Then the challenge was using it on a card, so I went in search of a sketch challenge & found this week’s sketch over on Mojo Monday 229 would suit.

Sketch 229

Card: Basic Black, Real Red, Whisper White

Ink: Real Red

Stamp: Teeny Tiny Sentiments

This owl was a bit big, so have made another one smaller….. now how to use it on a card……

Until later, happy stampin’

Happy Valentine’s Day

Happy Valentine’s Day everyone….. hope you all had a wonderful day & shared the love!

I made lots of Valentine’s cards while I was working out cards for my class last weekend, but then had to make one that David hadn’t seen, so was up late last night making it.

As I was bit tired I needed some inspiration so I used this week’s sketch over at Stamping 411 – challenge 242

I did make one little boo boo on my card which sent me off to bed very unhappy but it was too late to redo it…. hope it’s not too obvious!

Card: Cherry Cobbler, Basic Black, Very Vanilla

Ink: Cherry Cobbler, Basic Black,

Stamp: Tiny Tags, (SAB) Sprinkled Expressions, (retired) A Happy Heart

Other: Owl builder punch, Bird builder punch, Curly Label punch, Heart to Heart punch

Happy Valentine’s Day David…….. love you!

Until later, happy stampin’

Happy Birthday Aunty Helen
