SU Regional swap cards

** NOTE – I’m unsure how this second post of the day has come up listed after the 1st one – when they were scheduled hours apart and this is the more recent one! **

As promised I’m back to share my cards I made as my swaps for our Regional training on Saturday.

The idea behind “swaps” is we make a card – usually just the card front – then have fun swapping them with other demonstrators on the day.  This then allows us to see other ideas using stamp sets we may have already purchased, or if we don’t already have them then like me WANT them and hence make my wish list longer….. lol

The best part is our customers can then see a wide variety of cards when they attend workshops or classes.  We as demonstrators all have different styles, colour combinations & etc, let alone not owning all the stamp sets available in the new Idea Book & Catalogue….. so for me its good in allowing my customers to see something different to my style and widens their knowledge too.

Here are my cards:

 A

 B

Card: Crumb Cake, Rose Red, Whisper White

Ink: Crumb Cake, Rose Red

Stamp: Just Believe, Inspired by Nature

Other: Scallop Trim Border punch, Beautiful Wings Embosslits die, Dazzling Diamonds

A: Whisper White 3/8″ Taffeta Ribbon, Modern Label punch, Word Window punch

B: 1 3/4″ Circle Large punch

 C

Card: Crumb Cake, Not Quite Navy, Whisper White

Ink: Crumb Cake, Not Quite Navy

Stamp: Just Believe, Inspired by Nature

Other: Scallop Trim Border punch, Beautiful Wings Embosslits die, Dazzling Diamonds,  1 3/4″ Circle Large punch

Now for some reason (most likely lighting) my photos of the above cards the top image looks different colour to cardstock & image on base (ie Crumb Cake), but in real life they look the same in colour, SORRY!!

Also it’s a little hard to see but the flowers all have a little Dazzling Diamonds on them just lift them a little more.

I’m just loving the new butterfly – Beautiful Wings Emblosslits die, aren’t they just the cutest little butterflies!  There are a total of 5 butterflies on this die, I haven’t used the biggest butterfly on these cards.

The last of my cards I went for male theme:

Card: So Saffron, Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla

Ink: So Saffron, Chocolate Chip, Crumb Cake

Stamp: Autumn Days, On Your Birthday

This last card was my father’s day card with a different salutation, as I thought would be nice to share a male orientated card.  As you will note by my previous post about Regionals, I didn’t get many male themed cards & these are the ones I struggle with a little….. although I suspect we often think a male doesn’t really appreciate all the effort anyways…. lol….. but before you shoot me down in flames I know there are some guys out there that do!!!!  Also I must admit my father’s day cards were appreciated and I received thanks for putting my love & thought into making them.

Until later, happy stampin’
