I did another variation of an Easter basket using the Scallop Edge Envelope die, this time using 6 envelopes instead of four which gives a bigger basket. I saw this over on Nikki’s blog & thought I would try it out.
I’ve used black since its the recipent’s favourite colour.
then it was filled will lots of treats (including a cute kitten hand puppet) although very little chocolate as she’s more a ‘candy’ girl than chocolates.
Card/paper: Basic Black, Ginger Blossom Designer Series Paper (retired), Whisper White, Pink Pirouette
Other: Scallop Edge Envelope die, Scallop edge Punch, Large oval, Small oval, 1 3/4″ circle, 1 3/8″ circle, 1/2″ circle, non SU 1/4″ circle, Dimensionals, Black Stampin Write pen
Once I glued all the six envelopes together positioning it into an even hexagonal shape, I traced around the shape to give me a template to put a base into the box and also on the outside of the base. This was required as you are otherwise left with a gapping hole where the envelopes don’t meet, besides it finished off the box nicely as well.
So I think she should get her ‘candy’ fix from what’s in the basket.
Until later, happy stampin.
